This program of instruction prepares students for entry- to mid-level jobs, such as Computer Support Specialists
and Health Information Technicians, in the medical and health fields. Healthcare IT Technicians are responsible
for the organization and management of health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility,
and security in both paper and electronic systems. In this program, students will learn how to implement,
deploy, and support healthcare IT systems for U.S. medical and health service industries such as hospitals,
clinics, managed care organizations, public health agencies, and other similar organizations.
